Back in 2009, we were celebrating the outstanding "Love alive" by Heather Johnson, produced and arranged by Frankie Feliciano. Now five years later, this beautiful song returns in marvelous remixes by Danny Clark who takes Heather Johnson's inimitable sultry angelic voice to all new heights on his uber melodious re-imagination which combines the vocals with seductive chords, jazzy piano and gentle yet spell binding rhythms - a soulful gem guaranteed to make you yearn for more. Also included is Frankie Feliciano's 'New Dark Mix' originally released in late 2009 on the "Love EP".

South Africa's DJ SGZ and Shatti join forces to bring us "Feel the music", and not much needs to be said about this wonderful soulful song having timeless written all over. Deep'n'gentle rhythms serve as playground for Shatti's gorgeous emotive vocals, lovely funky guitar solos and lush keys, altogether spreading an uplifting summery feel guaranteed to make you yearn for more. Now Gruv Shack grace us with the magnificent "Gruv Shack Love Beats" compilation which is loaded with not less than fifteen 'love songs' (both vocal and instrumental), many of which are previously unheard remixes and tracks. Antidote Music bless us with an outstanding selection of house remixes of "Imiyalo" by Nomalungelo Dladla, a Swati inspirational song has touched all hearts from the dance floor and beyond. The chosen ones to add their magical deep/soulful touch to the song are The Antidotes, Lele X, Nteeze & Andy, Chymamusique, Monodeluxe and Symphonic - to cut a long story short, each of their interpretations is truly fresh and ingenious, making it next to impossible to pick a favorite version. In other words, a package guaranteed to send shivers down your spine and make you yearn for more. By no means to be missed.

Not much needs to be said and written about this paramount release by legendary producer/DJ Andy Compton and up and rising South African songstress Sisanda Myataza who impresses with her lovely truly unique voice and the glamorous rendition of the lyrics. Two equally fabulous productions are included on the EP, first up is the enthralling Detroit influenced title track "Peace love & joy" which combines the vocals with heavenly synth melodies, acidic overtones and deeply thumpin' rhythms. Second is "No denying", a South African influenced soul oozing gem using deeply rumblin' rhythms as playground for the vocals, seductive keys, sweet guitar and entrancing saxophone by James Morton. Instrumental versions of both are included, making this an essential package for any lover of deep soulful house music.

Back in late December of last year, we reviewed the phenomenal "You're my delight" by Luyo which features Wendy Lewis' emotive truly one-of-a-kind vocals. Now the long awaited second part has arrived, including the fervid 'Delightful Dub' version from DJ Spen & Gary Hudgins, the enticing 'Sure Shot Mix' by M&S (Ricky Morrison & Fran Sidoli) and a brand new remix by the team of Luis Radio & Pablo Martinez who take this timeless club classic to all new heights on their outstanding rework combining the incomparable vocals with inebriant melodies and spell binding rhythms.
