Watch out for Peng Music as they have a few dope releases scheduled for the coming weeks. First up is "Acid Andy's Jamz" by Andy Compton & The Rurals loaded with three equally brilliant deep acid house jams, one of which is a collaboration with Californian outfit Blue Dream. Next up is "Fun" the first single from Portishead vocalist Kennedy John Charles's forthcoming debut album. The original version is a scintillating groovey affair, with EVM 128 contributing a killer broken beat remix. Finally, Andy Compton & The Rurals team up with lyricist TrueMendouss for an excellent two track release: "War" is a fantastic deep acid house track, while "The other side (long way home)" is a beautiful laidback down-tempo jam.

In fall of last year, US house music legend Teddy Douglas (of Basement Boys and Jasper St. Co. fame) blessed us with his fantastic debut solo artist album "I'm here" that includes a towering four-to-the-floor remake of the Frontline Orchestra all-time classic "Don't turn your back on me". Finally this jewel featuring an eminent rendition of the unforgettable lyrics by Pauline Taylor is getting a full single release complete with mind-boggling remixes. Teddy Douglas himself opens the package with a killer remix laced with joyous organ chords and an infectious organic backdrop, and he also provides a dope 'Organ Dub'. Next is Swiss DJ/producer Shaka who contributes a marvelous funk infused soulful house interpretation, followed by Tedd Patterson whose sophisticated remix is a sure-fire prime time anthem.
