At the beginning of the millennium, Andy Compton (as The Rurals) released two stunning EP's and a full album through Viva Recordings, in late 2016 he returned to the label with the marvelous "Feel free", a timeless slice of utterly soulful deep house oozing with the inimitable haunting vocals of Rogiers. Now this gem is back in superb remixes by Miz-Dee who contributes a verily soulful rendition laced with sublime piano, floaty organ and smoothly groovin' percussive rhythms, and by Lelanga who serves a tantalizing late night interpretation fueled with spacious synth melodies and inexorably pulsating rhythms.
