Back in 2007, Jaffa Music presented their debut release "Miscommunicate" by Australian singer Rachel Claudio and French producer Nicolas Vautier. This marvelous production which is nowadays considered a timeless classic has been picked up by Solid Ground who bring it back complete with massive remixes. First up is Louis Benedetti who is pulling out all the stops on his grandiose remix laced with sublime keys which harmonize perfectly with Rachel Claudio's sultry vocals. Next is Carlos Vargas who delivers a soulful jazz-funk inspired gem guaranteed to make you yearn for more (check the 'Dubstrumental' to enjoy the full glory of the orchestration), followed by Steven Stone who contributes a fierce yet soulful stomper guaranteed to set the floor on fire. |

Stephen Rigmaiden blesses us with the deep yet super soulful "Take chances" featuring grand keys and his very own silky smooth vocals over thrilling rhythms, with the 'Soul Mix' going deeper and giving the track a slightly more laidback feel. On remix duty we have Cody 'Coflo' Smith who serves a synth-heavy neo deep house workout, and Maiki who contributes a gorgeous groovey interpretation oozing with heavenly melodies. |

In 1994, Kerri Chandler and Arnold Jarvis - two of house music's biggest legends - joined forces to present "Inspiration" which nowadays is considered an all time classic, released through Freetown Inc. (a now defunct deep house and garage label from London, UK responsible for many other classics as well). The title says it all, and with Kerri 'Chandler's trademark phat basslines, Arnold Jarvis inimitable impassioned vocals and the phenomenal piano, this undoubtedly is a cornerstone in house music history. Not to forget to mention the massive remixes by Roger Sanchez, Nick Jones and Kerri Chandler himself (the picture on the left is from the limited 3x12" DJ promo). |

Ever since he began to write, perform and record, Arnold Jarvis, one of the true legendary voices of house music, can look back at an impressive catalogue of classics. From the beginning, he has worked with the biggest names in the industry - his debut single "Take some time out" (1987) was produced by Tommy Musto & Yvonne Turner, he collaborated with Frankie Knuckles, Robert Owens & Satoshi Tomiie on "I loved you" (1990) and worked with Kerri Chandler on "Inspiration" (1994) to name just a few. Now he presents his third full length album "Just say it" produced by none other than Shelter maestro Timmy Regisford, and what a musical treat this is... On each of the songs on the album, he impresses with his unmistakable soulful rendition of the meaningful lyrics, while thesumptuous rhythms and grandiose melodies ensure jam packed floors. A truly phenomenal album by no means to be missed. |
