Ananda Project was founded by producer Chris Brann in 1998 as a side project from his Wamdue collective, the debut release "Cascades of colour" featuring vocalist Gaelle Adisson is an all-time deep house classic. In 2000, the full length album "Release" followed, and ever since Ananda Project have been gracing us with their awe-inspiring releases and innovative sound. Now NiteGrooves Records have put together the "Essential Deep Selections" collection loaded with not less than twenty five remixes (five of them previously unreleased) of iconic Ananda Project tracks from the likes of Kerri Chandler, Frankie Feliciano, Manoo, DJ Spinna, ReelSoul, Kiko Navarro, Sean McCabe, Doug Gomez, Cee ElAssaad, Danny Krivit, Louie Vega, DJ Kawasaki, Yuichi Inoue and many more.
