Legendary disco project Hudson People, best remembered for their essential classic "Trip to your mind", unleash their fresh new single "Hold on" featuring several mixes based on an original recording from the late 1980’s, with the completely unheard yet incredibly soulful voice of singer Rickey Owens. First up is Thomas Redfern who contributes a funky yet deep version, complete with a dub taking this even deeper. Next is Tom Quick who serves a catchy 90’s French house inspired rework, followed by DJ Friction who delivers a dope boogie/funk influenced mix. From Hollis P. Monroe comes the laidback mellifluous 'Balearic Mix', and finally there are the original demo mix and acapella.
