The Rejected Touch "You are the one" (Atal Music CD Promo)
Atal Music continue to bless us with nothing but the best in South African house music, with their latest offering being "You are the one" by The Rejected Touch, the duo of former Room 806 members Makabongwe Mbuli and Philani Zuma. The intoxicating "You are the one" is their first release and features enchanting male vocals alongside glorious keys over deeply groovin' afrocentric rhythms. The track is taken to deepest grounds on the mesmerizing 'Dub Mix' oozing with heavenly melodies and a smooth yet spell binding backdrop.
Domscott featuring Elle Marchelle "Someone else's ground" (Grooveboy Music CD Promo)
Spanish DJ/producer Domscott and American jazz/soul singer Elle Marchelle give us "Someone else's ground", an uber cool truly soulful slice of laidback summery house built around a warm sun drenched groove and grand keys, not to forget to mention Elle Marchelle's breathtaking angelic vocals. The remixes are courtesy of Max Riolo who stays true to the original and gives the song a deeper funked-up feel on his gorgeous interpretation, and Grooveboy whose entrancing rendition retains the deep soulful vibe of the original yet intensifies the feel.
Various "2013 ADE Sampler" (Sandisco Recordings CD Promo)
Here we have the first of three so called "ADE Samplers" in support of this weeks Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Sandisco Recordings are first with their sampler which introduces us to five delightful brand new productions: "The drum in me" by Afronature, "My life" by San-Diano featuring Kenny Darkreine, "Yelele" by San-Diano featuring Sthe, "I will forever" by Chilli Funk and last but not least "Loose control" by Soul De Marin featuring Helene Di Firenzi. To make it short, we love each of these beautiful soulful/afro-deep productions and are impatiently looking forward to the full single releases...

South Africa's Sandile 'Sai' Mavuso and Mahlatse 'Ribatone' Riba return to Tribe Records with "Avenue of dreams", a wonderful production featuring emotive vocals by Thiwe alongside illustrious keys over a gentle yet thrilling organic afro-deep backdrop. On remix duty are Larry Heard whose deep percussive interpretation is fueled with heavenly keys, Will 'Reelsoul' Rodriguez who injects his distinctive warm melodious touch, and QB whose soul oozing rendition combines the vocals with gorgeous jazzy piano, lovely guitar riffs and a deeper than deep mellow backing.

The latest offering from SoulFunktion (Brian Keys Tharme & Wally Walton) is titled "Every step with you" and features vocals from up and rising songstress Emma Black. A deep yet smoothly groovin' backdrop lead the way for sublime jazzy keys, lush synth melodies and the inimitable haunting vocals of Emma Black. The track is taken to deeper grounds on the dub version which spreads a mesmerizing feel through ethereal synth melodies and relentlessly thumpin' rhythms.

The team of DJ Vivona and Miss D returns with "Stronger", an utterly deep production using an infectious backing as playground for Miss D's incomparable expressive vocals and hypnotizing synth melodies. Deeptown Music grace us with "Without U" by Othello, a beautiful soulful production oozing with a rich organic backing, heavenly melodies and heartfelt vocals. Ananda Project use key elements of the original and somewhat relax the vibe on their phantasmagorial re-imagination, Linley Mack reworks the track into a feel good affair perfect for peak time play, and finally J. Axel gives the track a more percussive and laidback yet very organic summery feel.
