In 2014, Slaag Records owner and producer/DJ/remixer/songwriter/vocalist Glenn Thornton released his debut artist album "A foray into slaagerous", now he is back with the follow-up album entitled "Slaag daddy". A total of eleven tracks are featured on the album, including collaborations with renowned vocalists Dawn Tallman, Gerideau, Michelle Rivera and Vanessa Honore. The album offers something for both lovers of soulful house music as well as for lovers of deep house music, and it does also include a couple of tracksdestined to rock the main room. Without doubt, "Slaag daddy" is a testimony of the unique truly eclectic sound that Glenn Thornton is famous and beloved for.

Boston soulful house maestro Kelvin Sylvester and vocalist Lee Wilson bless us with a breathtaking cover version of The System's all-time dance music classic "You're in my system" which dates back to 1982 and was released on now defunct Mirage Records. The original stays true to the spirit of the original yet gives the song a contemporary truly uplifting four-to-the-floor feel, with Lee Wilson's unmistakable emotive vocals shining all over. The remixes are courtesy of Will 'ReelSoul' Rodriguez who adds his beloved rich melodious touch, and Jay Kutz who transforms the song into a chunky truly enthralling deep house affair.
