South Africa's Ultra Tone Records truly bless us with this marvelous three track sampler of their soon to be released debut compilation. First up, V.Underground presents the sublime "The times we had" oozing with the heartfelt vocals of Cookham, formidable jazzy keys, ethereal chords and gentle rhythms. Next up we have the inspirational "Sepe sepe" by Genvee featuring the passionate vocals of Kayode Dele-Ojo, enchanting guitars and luscious keys over a thrillingly thumpin' backdrop, and last but not least Ultra Tone and Dr Duda join forces to grace us with "Me, myself and I" which combines the beautiful sultry vocals of Lerato with heavenly melodies and intriguing deeply groovin' rhythms.

Earlier this year, Korean artist Kyle Kim blessed us with his stunning re-imaginations of Montell Jordan's "This is how we do it" and "All I do" by Stevie Wonder both released through Italy's Double Cheese Records, now he returns to the label with a jaw-dropping original song performed in grand style by songstress Ashley Jana. Most definitely, the phenomenal "Lean on me" is guaranteed to make you yearn for more thanks a masterly soul/funk infused orchestration and Ashley Jana's incomparable emotive vocals. The remixes are courtesy of label head Luyo who contributes an enthralling uplifting interpretation and Richard Earnshaw who deliver a glorious latin inspired rendition.

Beginning of the year, Frank Ryle (founder and one half of Danish/German duo Cool Million) presented the first single taken from his debut album "The adventures of Jefferson Keyes" (the title is referring to the main character from 70's TV series "Cool Million"), in May the second single "Keep the faith" followed. Fast forward to September and we finally can enjoy the album in its full glory.
