For many years, NiteGrooves have blessed us with the eclectic and seminal "Abstract Afro Vibes" and "Abstract Afro Lounge" series (the inaugural release in the "Abstract Afro Lounge" series dates as far back as 1998) where the label pays homage to the influences that sounds from the motherland have had on dance music. The newest offering is "Abstract Afro Vibes Vol. 4" which is loaded with not less than twenty afro inspired genre defining cuts from an illustrious list of artists such as Dennis Ferrer, Roland Clark, Kerri Chandler, Ron Trent, Mark Di Meo, Rancido, Stephanie Cooke, Ananda Project, Kiko Navarro and Basil to name just a few.

HSR Records are riding on a huge wave of success, with the labels latest offering being the "Don't walk away" by Giulio Bonaccio and songstress Karla Brown. The original version is sheer musical bliss, featuring an utterly infectious organic backdrop alongside grandiose jazzy keys, stellar brass and Karla Brown's paramount jazz tinged vocals and ad-libs. The remixes are courtesy of Guido P who relaxes the vibe on his splendiferous sun drenched interpretation, and Guitardalex (Federico D'alessio) who contributes a phantasmagorical funked-up rendition on a classic tip.

Legendary Canadian house music label Bombay Records returns to Spirit of House with the outstanding "Secrets" produced by Chin Injeti and performed in grand style by Omar Khan. The enthralling original version uses a chunky backdrop as playground for Omar Khan's beautiful r&b styled vocals and seductive keys and chords - pure quality. The chosen ones to add their magical touch to this soulful gem are Koyla (Nikolay Serebryakov) and Nav 'Awaaz' Bhinder, beyond the shadow of a doubt they both hit the mark with their masterly crafted soul/funk infused interpretations having timeless written all over.

The original version of "Samba of love" by Sam Q's Night Patrol could first be heard on Grooveland Music's "Grooves Lounge Vol. 1" compilation, now this Sam Qureshi produced and masterly orchestrated jazz/latin/bossa-nova jewel featuring the beautiful alluring vocals of Taylor Jackson gets a full single release complete with breathtaking four-to-the-floor remixes. First up Jihad Muhammad adds his magical touch, with his utterly thrilling interpretation keeping the spirit of the original alive yet oozing with the beloved mesmerizing Bang the Drum sound.
