When in July 2011 Grooveland Music was celebrating its five years anniversary, we wrote "Unbelievable how the years have passed... In June 2006, Brazilian label Grooveland Music was launched with "Afrika" by E.Deep, and ever since the label has been at the forefront of soulful house music." Since then, another three years have passed, with the label having released many more soulful classics such as DJ Garphie featuring George Sida "Take me home", the highly acclaimed full length album by Michelle McClain or the South African remixes of one of the labels legendary releases: "Eu soul by BSC featuring Andre. This truly eclectic and varied compilation in celebration of "8 Years of Grooveland" features past and future releases from an illustrious list of artists, including brand new music from Ars Domini, Carlos Vargas featuring Danny, Citysounds! featuring Natasha Watts, Deepn Soul featuring Robert Carvalho, BeeKay Deep or Manousos. Highly recommended.

The sorcerous "Another lover" by Andy Compton and singer Rogiers has been a favorite with many DJs, producers and us here at Spirit of House ever since the original version was released on the seminal "Miami Uncuts 2014" compilation earlier this year. Now the song gets a well deserved full single released loaded with an eclectic selection of remixes, with more mixes to come in a future Tony Records compilation. First up, the team of Mark Picchiotti, Craig Stewart & Dale Nortier deliver a breath-taking old skool inspired re-imagination laced with smooth jazz sax, live flute, rhythmic guitar and wicked piano stabs. Next is Andy Compton's lively masterly orchestrated 'Rurals Mix' oozing with a glamorous laidback organic vibe, followed by DJ Vivona's compelling deep tech-soul workout fueled with tantalizing melodies, and last but not least Drive Red 5 drop two alternate tech house remixes sure to rock the bigger rooms.
