A secret weapon here at Spirit of House since being included in Uno Mas superb "WMC 2014 Sampler" in Kamikaze's marvelous remix, "Afrika my lovely home" by up and rising DJ/producer Mzala Wa Afrika finally gets a well deserved proper release. The original is a timeless deep'n'smooth affair featuring sweet emotive vocals by Tee R alongside glorious keys and chords over gentle afro-deep rhythms. Enea DJ & Ju K serve a glamorous rendition fueled with lovely guitar licks, sublime chords, grand jazzy piano and captivating percussive rhythms, next Indy Soul deepens the vibe and gives the track a moody somewhat dark feel perfect for late night play. Finally, there is Kamikaze's breath-taking remix keeping the vibe deep and soulful yet spreading a tempting vibe you can't resist to dance to.

Back in 1994, 95 North (Doug Smith & Richard Payton) worked with Phillip Ramirez to record a marvelous cover of the classic Earth, Wind & Fire song "See the light" released on Choice Records (complete with remixes Smack Productions and DJ Disciple), then in 1998 Crash Records releases superb remixes by Dino & Terry. In November of last year, the first part of the '20th Anniversary Remixes' was released, with 95 North own Richard Payton on remix duty. Now the second part has arrived, featuring brand new remixes by Sean McCabe who graces us with a compelling truly soulicious remix laced with grand strings and killer organ, taking Phillip Ramirez unrivaled vocals to all new heights. Richard 'True2Life Pring reworks the song into a vibrant relentlessly thumpin' affair oozing with luscious melodies, with his raw'n'gritty dub intensifying the vibe to the max. Finally, DJ Nav contributes an utterly soulful and melodious yet truly tantalizing underground-esque interpretation guaranteed to put a spell on you.

Last year in March, we were celebrating "Star night love" by Enea DJ, a marvelous slice of timeless soulful dance music. Now Enea DJ returns in grand style with "Feel all right", a truly uplifting masterly orchestrated soul/funk/disco inspired production oozing with a captivating feel-good vibe created by the glorious strings and horns, sweet guitars, melodious keys and groovey funked-up backdrop, not to forget to mention Che Cherry's wonderful emotive vocals. On remix duty are Yass who pulls out all the stops on his jaw-dropping classic interpretation, N'Dinga Gaba contributes an utterly hypnotizing deep late nigh rework, and last but not least Groove Assassin delivers a relentless deeply groovin' workout laced with luscious melodies sure to set the floor on fire.

Aqua Sol Recordings bless us with an eclectic absolutely phenomenal remix package of Walter Christopher's "Heaven" taken from his 2007 album "Can't wait". First up we have Dave Lalla's 'Jersey Soul Mix' which combines Walter Christopher's beautiful emotive vocals with ruthlessly thumpin' rhythms, grand jazzy piano and glamorous keys. Next, Big Logan gives the song a somewhat more laidback gorgeously organic feel on his 'Club Mix', while his 'Dem Beatz V Dub' is a tantalizing underground-esque late night affair oozing with a glorious after hours vibe. Jihad Muhammad contributes a truly sorcerous interpretation oozing with his beloved soul drenched utterly melodious sound, and lastly LooweeR serves a classic rendition on a gently groovin' tip laced with dazzling keys guaranteed to make you yearn for more.
